Nankai Travel International has started medical travel service in Japan since 2010.
As a travel agency, by utilizing our international network, we provide a one-stop service for foreigners visiting Japan to receive medical checkups and treatment at advanced medical institutions. Our service includes making medical checkup or treatment reservations, receiving payment by proxy, medical interpretation and translation arrangements, and identity guarantees for medical visas. This is to enable the patient to make a satisfactory choice regarding on the progress and the next stage of the treatment. Shonan Kamakura Tokushukai Hospital, which opened in 1988, moved to its current location in 2010 and was designated as a "Regional Hospital for Cancer Treatment" by the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare in April 2020. The Advanced Medical Center, newly opened in April 2021, was equipped with a wide range of facilities specializing in radiotherapy, one of the three major types of cancer treatment. In April 2021, they also started the operation of PET/CT scan. In January 2022, this was the 19th facility, which could provide proton beam therapy (cancer treatment) in Japan. Furthermore, they are also planning to operate the world's 16th boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) facility, in order to increase the options for non-surgical and gentle treatments.

Since its opening in 1975, the hospital has provided "safe, high-quality, advanced medical care" as the only university hospital in the Minami Osaka area. This hospital focuses specially on cancer diagnosis and treatment. The Cancer Center is including the Outpatient Treatment Center, Radiotherapy Department, Palliative Care Room, and Cancer Counseling and Support Center. In this hospital, you will be able to get systematical and effective cancer treatment. In 2016, a leading-edge hybrid operating room was implemented, which enables vascular imaging and X-ray fluoroscopy, and is mainly used for cardiovascular, neurosurgical, and orthopedic surgeries. There are a total of 17 operating rooms, including a room dedicated to endoscopic surgery with a focus on robotic surgery da Vinci and a room exclusively for outpatient to have a day surgery for ophthalmology.

NATIONAL CEREBRAL AND CADIOVASCULAR CENTEROsaka

The National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center, which opened in 1977, moved to a new location in July 2019. Aiming for the highest level of medical science, this medical institution does prevention, diagnosis, development of treatment methods, elucidation of causes, pathophysiology, and training of specialized technicians. The hospital, research institute, research and development center, and administrative department work together to promote integrated measures against cardiovascular diseases such as heart disease, vascular disease, and stroke in adults and children. Opened in 2001, this is one of the largest epilepsy centers in the world with 200 epilepsy beds out of a total of 410 beds. Opened in 1970, this is one of the top class neurosurgical hospitals in Japan in terms of the number of surgeries and treatment results.
